One Furnace with Separate Hardening and Drawing Chambers
Digital readout, microprocessor based controller.
SCR Power Controllers and Temperature Controls are mounted on the side
for ready access and service.
Heavy duty, low watt density elements for maximum heating element life
located in the top, bottom and both sides of the heating chamber.
Safety door switch interlock for power control. Power is off when upper
chamber opens.
Swing out, gasket sealed, plug type doors with plunger
and cam locks.
Heat resistant chrome-nickel-alloy hearth plate.
High temperature ceramic fiberboard insulation backed up with high
temperature castable cement for maximum insulating value. Heating elements
enclosed in preformed insulating panels provide fast heating, and easy
replacement.
Heavy steel plate fabricated furnace case.
Recirculating fan and inner chamber liner are heat resistant chrome
nickel steel on lower chamber.
Heavy duty fan drive assures uniform temperature in draw chamber.
Some models available with
atmosphere control package for upper chamber for heat treating with inert
gases.
